Jyotee Nagarkar
Jyotee Nagarkar came to Kingswood in 1973 and was part of Cranbrook Schools for 36 years before retiring in 2009.
Nagarkar earned his Ph.D. from Wayne State University and his bachelor's and master's degrees from Bombay University. He has also received diplomas from the Sorbonne in Paris.
Nagarkar headed the Upper School Foreign Language Department for 20 years and is a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. He was the faculty advisor for the India Club and coached fitness and walking. Outside of school, Nagarkar enjoys travel and photography.
