Robert Kenny
Robert Kenny holds the second longest tenure as a faculty member at Cranbrook Schools.
For 43 years, he served as both the registrar and as an English instructor at Cranbrook. Kenny was also the varsity basketball coach for 10 years. |

Among the great teachers at Cranbrook, my favorite was Robert Kenny. He taught senior English through an outstanding book: "Patterns for Living," which I still have and still read. If you had to pick a teacher that made possible that click in your head to come to a better understanding of life and of academics, he was it.

Bob Kenny and Hubie Davis were my mentors when I was a rookie teacher 1958-1961. They gave me their frienship and guidance and
launched me on a career to headmaster 3 different schools. I'm now retired but their memories are still very much with me. Jim Young
