Beth Holland has enlightened students as a visual arts instructor at Kingswood Middle School for several years.

Holland was the recipient of a sabbatical grant from Cranbrook schools for the 2001-2002 school year. She spent the time off touring Italy, France, New England and Colorado, and creating paintings inspired by her travels.

As part of the conditions for the grant, she returned to Cranbrook to share her achievements with the school.

The work she accomplished during that time was put on display in the Kingswood Lower Art Gallery.
