Mary Davey
As the dean of Lower School admission for the past 20 years, Mary Davey has helped Brookside to evolve without compromising her attention to individuals.

During every year of her tenure, Brookside's enrollment has been full. After the school's expansion in 1996, Davey brought in 220 new students—a 200 percent increase from previous years.

Facing the school's growth and other challenges, Davey has managed to maintain a rapport with families, remembering names and other details on each applicant's file.

Davey was recognized for her achievements by receiving the 2000 President's Award for Excellence.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary for over ten years. Not too long ago we had a crew of professional photographers on campus to take photos of the newly expanded Brookside. Mary was their main contact on this project. At the end of their visit, the photographers went out of their way to tell me that Mary was the most professional, organized, thoughtful and dedicated person they have ever looked with...and they have been shooting private school photos for over twenty years. Of course, they didn’t tell me anything that the faculty at Brookside and the admission staff did not already know.

I strongly believe in the power of creativity as Mr. Booth did.
